Growing up in Nottingham, England, exposed Joe to central heating from a young age which lead to Joe working for a gas central heating boiler manufacturer in technical support role. 5 years ago Joe was offered the opportunity to move to New Zealand and work with the CHNZ team in their technical department. It was easy for Joe to take the leap and move to our beautiful country, and since he been pivotal in growing our comprehensive technical aftersales team. Joes technical understanding and experience is extensive and his goal to provide the best aftersales support in the business is what pushes him to find solutions for our customers.
To grow the central heating industry in New Zealand, CHNZ offers a training academy where Joe is one of our primary trainers. He gets alongside our trade customers and provides them with the most up-to-date training which includes technical and practical experiences.
When Joe isn’t troubleshooting, he can be found enjoying music in particular the guitar and piano…but if you give him a few beers he may even sing. He says he isn’t good but that can’t be true because he used to direct a choir while in university. Joe also loves watching movies and true crime series which will keep him accompanied on the flight back to the UK to visit family this festive season.
